Gateway is an interactive sound installation utilizing computer vision and sound programming. A Leap motion controller is used to track user’s hand movements inside an old wooden frame to explore soundscapes from different locations and dimensions.
In this piece the focus is solely on sound, providing only a floating picture frame as the visuals. The soundscapes are controlled with Pure Data and the data from Leap Motion is processed with Processing.
This work was to be presented in Interactive Art –exhibition spring 2020 but it was cancelled.
